TWO sets of warring
parents were in court yesterday to argue over whether their
children should have the MMR jab.
The landmark case
is being brought by the fathers to try to force the mothers
to inoculate their child.
Before the case one
of the mum's - a midwife - said she had not had her
three-year-old daughter vaccinated because of fears over
links with autism. She is divorced from her husband and he
wants his child to have the jab.
Mr Justice
Christopher Sumner will decide if the children must have the
measles, mumps and rubella vaccine.
The case, which is
being heard in private at Winchester county court, continues
until Friday.
